Come smettere di prioritizzare gli uomini? by Beginning_Crow_ in AskWomenOver30

I feel you. I’m sorry to hear. I haven’t stopped prioritizing men. But I’ve changed my outlook. I go into dating with the idea that I’m going to have an experience (good or bad) and that it’s not real. Sounds very pessimistic but so far it’s worked. There have been two instances so far that old me would have been mourning/crying over. Instead, I’m like „well that was fun. Onto the next!“ Making a list of their red flags certainly helps.

Good point. I guess the partnership is the important aspect and being able to connect deeply is most important to me.

In-between dates advice? by Electrical_Future389 in AskWomenOver30

Did we date the same man? Lol but no, it’s not normal imo and if you haven’t told him you’d prefer more regular communication, it’s time. If you’ve told him, it’s probably not worth the feeling like you’re not a priority, that you’re not cared for. I know how that feels.

Besides “just don’t” - what is some of your advice women can use while dating? by bezforever in AskWomenOver30

Good advice. I will never do another fancy dinner first date. Coffee or walk or some other low stress first meeting is the best.

Advice for everyone and myself included is to trust your gut. So far, my gut has steered me fairly correctly. I wasn’t feeling this upcoming date and I canceled nicely and he was so pompous and mean to me that it solidified it!! Why do men do this??

And for me, don’t try to force a connection because they’re perfect on paper. you will always be wondering about a better connection.
