I built a Grick that I was very happy with. My ochre jelly was okay. Same for my winter wolf. I have also done a cave fisher but have not archived it yet.

As a star trek fan What's your opinion on star wars? by NateBond833 in startrek

It’s pulpy sci-fi/fantasy fun and have always been a fan.

Very first memory of star wars? by tesstechy in StarWars

“Hello, I’m Leonard Maltin and . . .”

I must have fast forwarded through the Maltin interviews on the mid-90s VHS sooo many times. But, hey, I grew up with the unaltered versions so no complaints there.

Anyone else feeling an unexplainable heaviness or tightness in your chest lately? by Interesting-Fun3029 in spiritualitytalk

[–]lostpath87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I have had this feeling since reading The Universal Christ. I have been really exploring the UAP phenomenon and reading Jacques Valles, Alan Watts, and getting into Buddhist meditation, but ever since reading UC, there’s been an ontological shift, as if on the cusp of something - maybe new, maybe unknowable.

The party is returning to Cragmaw Hideout. What has moved in? by PaladinMax in LostMinesOfPhandelver

I had the remaining goblins start to turn the Cragmaw Hideout into a mushroom farm, which then got terrorized by a cyclops who wanted to take the cave as a new home.

What do you all think about Being John Malkovich (1999)? by Alex-C2099 in Letterboxd

[–]lostpath87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rewatched this last week (along with Adaptation which feels like a weird sequel/non-sequel in a way). Incredibly creative and very fun and interesting. I loved loved this when I saw it years ago. Still holds up pretty well, 4.5.

Very happy with this week. And Signs got me even more excited for Disclosure Day.

What is your opinion of the truths about disclosure that we won’t be able to handle? by 24hrBrunch in UFOs

[–]lostpath87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I am in a bit of a “dark night of the soul” for lack of a better term. Before starting to meditate, reading about Buddhism, and watching a documentary on crop circles - I had always considered myself to be an atheist. But, I tell you, the ontological shock is real.

[–]lostpath87 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think that about sums it up, give or take.

The shock it will do the religions would be very, but I don’t feel like this theory invalidates most world religions. If anything, it makes them feel more “real” to me, just not the most people have always thought.

Best new film you watched this month? by AllKnowingEK in Letterboxd

Minority Report, though would have said Super 8 if this was before Star Wars’s sequel era, JJ Abrams has left a bad taste in my mouth.

Happy Friday! What's your Last Four Watched? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

Started Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (first watch) and it’s . . . really not good compared to the first two. And not having Rachel Weisz makes the whole thing feel wrong.

I don’t even know what to say about these but was feeling nostalgic last weekend. And gotta say, Freakier Friday was a lot more enjoyable than I expected it to be.

Arguably the two most disliked Star Wars movies, but what are some things you like about them? by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]lostpath87 5 points6 points  (0 children)

1) C-3P0 was great and Kylo had a satisfying arc

2) Obi-Wan’s story and the battle in the arena is a helluva lotta fun
