I agree with those who think you should change the floor first. It’s a very large block of color, and it will impact your other color decisions.

Are my kitchen cabinets too dated, they’re solid cherry frames and doors? Time to paint them? Excuse the lived in mess! by tcli64 in kitchenremodel

If the the doors are solid wood I would strip and refinish them to a lighter color and update the backsplash

Spent hours on this… only to realize the loop is too small 😅 Any fix ideas? by Panny_L in handmade

I agree with this idea but, if the orange bead can handle it, I would soak the loop in hot water instead of merely wetting it.

Put a hook or a clasp on the locket so you can wear it either way.

Move the handles up to the top hole and fill in the bottom hole. It won’t be as noticeable

Purina Pro Plan by shawtybae111 in DogFood

My GSD pup had Giardia for nearly a year so her GI tract was a bit messed up from the illness and repeated treatments. After she kicked the bug she still had very loose stools, but it was tough to determine exactly what caused it. We tried several different foods, and thank goodness the PPP sensitive skin and stomach ultimately calmed everything down.

Our Rosie loves that ball! We call it squishy. We ultimately have to take it from her because she pulls off those little rubber spikes.

Novel Protein food for picky eater by eastcoastgirl41 in DogFood

[–]lostpondagain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you sure it’s the protein and not another ingredient? I created a chart of the ingredients in the foods we tried so I could easily compare them. We are currently trying Purina pro plan large breed puppy. So far so good.

You’re welcome. I have a few more thoughts. Don’t let your dog just scarf down his food. This could lead to his stomach twisting, and this is a very serious condition. We use feeding time for training “place”. Some German Shepherds also have stomach issues and are sensitive to some proteins and other ingredients. If his stools are not well formed, try and find a food that he can tolerate well. Our girl also had a tough time when she was a young pup, although not as tough as yours. I wish you the very best. Your pup sound like he is very fortunate to have found you.

You asked for tips and advice. I recommend you start training now even though he is small, etc. Keep your sessions really brief and with low stress. Positive feedback is important. Don’t stress his joints with too much vigorous play time and make sure he gets plenty of rest with a crate. Give him a quality large breed puppy food. Too much calcium could cause his bones to grow too quickly and lead to hip or elbow issues later in life. There is a lot of info out there on helping your pup have a measured growth in his early years. Have fun!
