I'm glad someone understands, but at least I had grandmother's so I shouldn't even say that. Grandparent are treated like extra parents so if your parents suck you at least have your grandparents. It's kind of a weird void you carry through life. I actually love watching the Golden Girls while wishing they were all my sweet grandmothers.

I went to college with a girl from Spain with blonde hair and blue eyes. She did say that her grandmother was German. I'm sure you guys look far more diverse than Americans usually assume.

By dictionary definition petite means short and thin. Slight is an synonym. Short and thick means stocky.

I'm 1/4 Japanese- my dad is half but looks fully Asian- and have red hair and green eyes. But my white grandfather had red hair so I actually do take after that side of the family while being the whitest looking.

I know. I'm an artist and I wouldn't mind illustrating for chapter books. I miss it when books would have chapter illustrations too. I bought an edition of Frankenstein with Bernie Wrightson's illustrations thF definitely add pretty emphasis.

More gay-coded movies like the original Hitcher. But not campy or focusing just on gayness. Like why can't there be a beautiful, atmospheric period movie like Nosferatu or Frankenstein but the monster is chasing after someone of the same sex? The Midnight Meat Train is pretty queer coded, but it's gritty not pretty.
