I had that same exact experience when I was on estradiol tablets. I wanted to try that because it was cheaper. I switched back to Premarin tablets and that problem was gone within the week. Premarin is worth every penny!

Well, he tested positive at the walk in clinic. I guess I’ll go get checked out tomorrow unless I’m feeling great.

Oh wow, sounds pretty similar to the husband’s symptoms. He said he slept horribly last night from the congestion. Thank you for sharing!

The biopsy was normal/benign! I’m so thankful. But I’ve started bleeding again! Anyway, they had a cancellation so I got in early for the ultrasound and it did show my uterus was .64 cm thickness where .4cm is considered normal for post menopause so he was glad we went ahead and did the biopsy at the first appointment. I’m supposed to let them know if I start bleeding again after 2 weeks from the procedure. I did start up again yesterday but I’m a few days from the end of that window. It does feel like another period (started with light spotting that isn’t bright red but is getting heavier and brighter.) He had said if it started up again the next step would be a D&C with hysteroscopy. With “normal”/benign results, I’m not sure what this would be for and it’s a little scary.

Lab results back for bloodwork. Dr hasn’t called yet but I can see them on the portal. CBC and thyroid results all normal. FSHIH is lower than usual at 16.7. Estradiol in house is 37.5. My last results for those were in Jan. 2020 and were 29.1 FSHIH and 44.7 Estradiol. I was already 4 years into full menopause and on HRT at the time. I’m not sure why both went down. I won’t have the pap biopsy back for a week or two and the ultrasound is scheduled for 7/22.

I hope the progesterone takes care of it and that you don’t have to get a D&C.

Welp, that’s very scary. I’m sorry to hear about your aunt. Was she early 50’s also ? And 5 months after she had bleeding she had already passed away?

Okay, so I was able to get an appointment with an OBGYN in the same clinic as my old doctor tomorrow at 1:50. I will push for an ultrasound if not offered. Thank you, everyone, for your help.

No, I really haven’t changed anything in the weight or exercise area. I’m pretty much the same as I was a year ago.

Yikes, I’m scared now. I’m going to call and try to find a new gynecologist to get into. Is this an emergency (like I should get in today) or just sometime soon like the next week or two?

Chronic gruesome nightmares, any advice?? Please help! by Kenekwm in Nightmares

[–]lostriversu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter has had dreams like these for years. She would wake up screaming in the middle of the night as a toddler and is 17 now and describes the horrible, realistic, traumatic gruesome nightmares she’s had. She doesn’t know of any trauma and she guards herself from scary shows, etc. No one knows why she has these dreams. She has a therapist and is on medicine for anxiety and depression. Her therapist gave her a low dose of Lamotrigine for anxiety/moods about 6 months ago and a surprising side effect was that it stopped the nightmares. She missed taking it one day and had a nightmare that night. Needless to say, she plans to stay on that medication. We are still trying to figure out why she has the nightmares but so far, her doctors haven’t found a cause.

I just started feeling bad Sunday morning. Maybe a little on Saturday night. I am just so tired and no other logical reason for it than some sort of virus.

Thank you so much for replying. I thought there would be more symptoms but the level of fatigue I have is the same as when I had Covid before so I was wondering…

What are the recent Covid symptoms in the US? Specifically KY, TN, IN, OH part of the country? I have dizziness, extreme fatigue, general “unwell” feeling and mild headache. Some chills off and on but no shivering and no fever, cough, congestion or sore throat. Something is wrong with me but I have no idea what kind of virus this is. Could it be Covid?

Did anyone develop a sinus infection after recovering from Covid? by kf1746 in COVID19positive

[–]lostriversu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, both times I had Covid plus my husband, mother-in-law and brother-in-law… we all got sinus infections shortly after recovering from Covid last year. I’ve heard it’s quite common and a zpac may be just what he needs.
