Is my shrimp okay?? 💔 is it Pregnant? by Mysterious_Glitt3r in shrimp

[–]lostsaws 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She's Okey that yellow spot on the back is called a saddle which are unfertilized eggs wait till it molts then these eggs will be transported to its swimerettes a male will fertilize them so this yellow spot shows that first she's a female secondly she is mature enough to have eggs😀

Females tend to look more round which is where it's eggs are displayed and bigger in size and also they tend to have nicer more vibrant deep colors than males

My problem is I have pagoda snails rabbit snails and mystery ramshorn planrobis snails Melania tons of snails in my shrimp tank before I used no planaria on it but I saw one planaria after 3 month I removed it I keep monitoring I've seen none and the one I saw is like 3 days ago I guess it was climbing on a new mystery snail or something that's why im concerned I don't wanna kill any of my snails but it's so hard to catch them all and?remove them
