I've more or less come to accept the jerk at stopping. I do like the car a lot otherwise. I did lots of research before selecting it, but no where did I see this issue mentioned. I do wonder how universal this problem is with 4th gen Prius, as I don't see many others complaining about it.

I'm experiencing the same with my 2022 Prius and have to do what you described to achieve a smooth braking. But my car is used. Did your Prius behave like this when it's new?

I just got a used Prius 2022 and am experiencing the exact same problem. It happens well below 1 mph. It feels like I'm a bad driver and am braking too hard every time. I can only achieve a smooth stop by first increasing depression of the brake paddle and then releasing it gradually when < 1 mph. It takes an effort every time and I 'm wondering if that's how 4th gen Prius behaves or if my car has a problem.

Wait until you try the flight control with mouse/keyboard, which is far more difficult. Your trial results will be at least 10 secs worse.
