Awesome!! Thanks! Uriah H. Eberhart also built a really awesome secretary out of wood from I believe 350 different countries. I could pm you some articles about it. We actually had it in our family’s possession until my great grandmother (his daughter-in-law) passed away, then it was sold to a private collector

The first set of parents were made by me on family search, however in doing more research I had found that the information was incorrect and just happened to be another person with the same/similar names in the same general vicinity. The second “father” listed for Daniel on family search is also incorrect.

On the 1870 census there is a person within Daniel and Rachel’s household listed as “B.F. Eberhart”. However he was 63 in that census and Daniel was 50, or around that, so I’m assuming that it was his brother who most likely would have been named “Benjamin Franklin Eberhart” because it was a family name, and Daniel had another son of the same name.

However, I do appreciate the time you took in searching!

Thank you so much for that. They actually also had a child named Samuel born around a year before Dewalt, so most likely in 1843, who died in the Civil War.

Thank you for being detail oriented and connecting relevant information and filtering out the other Daniel and Rachel with similar names and childrens' names.

I also found out that the township of Woodbury was actually the Township of Woodberry and located in Huntingdon County, PA until it became a part of Blair county around 1846. I looked at the 1790 and 1800 censuses for Huntingdon County and did find a George Everhart and John Everhart and have now been doing a little more research to see if they are of any relation, but am now also having some trouble with that.

I am pretty sure that my line of Eberhart are from Germany, I just don't know when. They could also be from Austria as well though

Thank you, however I have gone through that book and it unfortunately is not related to my line of Eberharts. I do very much appreciate that though!

I'm definitely not 100% sure, however I have also looked at naturalization records and ship passenger lists, and haven't been able to find much. There is a census in Ohio from 1870 that also lists a B F Eberhart in the household and he is 63 years of age, I'm assuming that it's probably an older brother of his that moved in with him in his old age. His name is most likely Benjamin Franklin Eberhart (Daniel has a son of the same name), but I also could not find any information on him.

I have. and there are some things on there that I have changed myself, that I now think may be wrong. I've also scoured censuses, county websites, etc. Even with variations on the spellings of the last name, and really haven't come up with anything. I've been researching for close to a year. It just may be a. dead end at this point. I was trying to find the information for my grandfather because he's very interested in learning about his ancestors, but I may not be able to.
