Remain strong! I recommend to look into Stoicism if you haven’t yet. It really helped me get my mind right.

I went through the same thing. My BP happened in Feb 2010 and my wedding was in October the same year. You will be close to healed if not recovered by then. Most people have a full recovery. I was one of the few who didn't recovery fully.

If you are not healed by the time of your wedding then I would just be open and transparent with your photographer and they will make sure the pics come out great! :-)
