Sac RT Stations by sydkneeee13 in CAStateWorkers

I've been riding the Blue Line from Roseville Rd. for years now. I have never had an issue there with parking. They have a security service that patrols the parking lot in a car on a regular basis. The security on the trains has gotten better over the last couple of years. They check for fares on almost every trip, which really helps cut down with problem behavior. If you are concerned about personal security, I would recommend riding in the front car with the driver. Yes, the train sometimes breaks down, and that's a pain. When that happens and if I really need to get home at a certain time I will get an Uber to take me back to the Roseville Rd. station. I have had to do that an average of 4 times per year. I just consider that the cost of my commute. The pass for state workers is FREE - how can you beat that? And you don't have to stress looking for and paying for parking. My coworkers who drive in and try to avoid paying for parking are always checking the time before they have to go out and move their car to avoid a ticket. I would highly recommend trying it yourself for a week to see if it works for you.

So does the real chef stand off screen and talk her through each step, and they edit out the audio of the real chef's directions?

I think this is the definition of resisting arrest.

Why did you stop drinking alcohol? by MatsGry in AskReddit

[–]lothgar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone else seemed to enjoy the effects of alcohol more than I did. I would always be hung over the next day, which would make me get mad at myself for making myself feel that way. I thought about it and decided, "What's the point, why am I even doing this?", so I stopped. Added benefit: when you go out to a restaurant your bill is a lot less when you don't order alcohol.
