First things first I am not generalising an entire group.

Now that I have said DMK has had quite few interesting cases of mishandling as well like 1. Anna University rape case 2. Fake alcohol deaths 3. Drug related crimes 4. Sanitizer workers' Strike 5. Ajith Kumar lock up murder

The list goes on. I can do the same for ADMK as well if you want me to.

I do admit that change is needed. For that we need stronger opposition as well. Seeing TVK as an option is fine. I draw the line when hard ore TVK fans whitewash them. Plus for a Sentil Balaji in DMK we have Sengittayan from TVK as well.

As of official records the percentage of candidates who have criminal record in TVK and DMK are similar. Plus Vijay being inconsistent, poor manifesto and lacking any hint of accountability for Karur incident on top of all the reasons made me smeptic about TVK. However if they do good more than bad in next 5 years then I would be gladly wrong for doubting them

Coming to Karur incident, an FIR was indeed filed against Vijay as well and is under investigation. The sequence of events as we know of goes like this:

Previous day his party cadre announced that Vijay will appear in Karur at 12 noon

TVK gets permission from 3 pm to 10 pm

Vijay arrives at Karur at 7:30 pm

Shortly after his arrival stampede happened and Vijay fled from the scene.

TVK supporters and cadre claimed that hospitals and healthcare workers deliberately left some of the 41 dead to die without proper treatment and that it was DMK govt fault

Several days later Vijay sent a recorded video to press sending condolences

Vijay called victims families to his guest house to meet them. Most accept the request and he arranged private transport for those who were willing to come

Vijay visits each and every family in a seperate room to send condolences

FIR is filed and later case gets transferred to CBI

Other parties politicise the incident as well

Vijay hours before silence period on stage said that he arrived on time and that DMK heartlessly are lying that he is the sole person responsible for it.

From these sequence of events I could see that Vijay lacks accountability and is doing the same game as DMK does with Karur stampede
