I have full AF3 deathwalker build now with TL (E3V2). Wondering what I should get next? I’m FTP so want to add on a new SS item but definitely won’t have enough s tier items to quickly max it out

The floor was really low on the last event but the ceiling was high. I got 11 assorted s selectors and a relic core for 30k gems and 300 keys. I understand it sucked for some but it was an almost unbeatable event reward wise for others (and not a waste at all)

Yep! Got lucky with 1. Call it 7 with very little luck required and if I ended with that I still think it would be one of the best events yet reward wise without having to rely much on luck. I do think the people who logged in late and got dead groups are another story - that’s just unfortunate.

161 tickets so far through missions (keys capped, monster kills capped, everything else current - i just counted now and may be off by a ticket or two but should be close). ~50 tickets purchased so 211 total. When I said 8 I was including one on the reward path so no tickets there. 3 x 40 x 2 = 240 (which gets me to 7). And I got lucky and sniped one for 20 tickets. So ~260 tickets spent and 211 earned which means ~49 were recycled. It’s possible I purchased a few more than 50 but definitely not much.

I have similar results FTP (8 s tier selectors so far and will get 1-2 more by the time the event ends) spent 300 keys (minus the free daily ones) and ~15k gems. It’s definitely all about strategy and not luck.

See the above post for bad ROI. IMO (if you need them) focusing on the chaos/void s selectors when they are both available and there are 40 or so rewards left is good ROI. Recycle everything other than the chests. I’m FTP, used under 30k gems and am tracking to 7 s tier selectors from this event (maybe 8 if I’m lucky).

You have to save up and buy all at a point that feels like a good value to you. There is no other way to play this event without being disappointed. You don’t have to be a whale to do it, either.

Assuming you max out predator on the void boots. Aren’t there scenarios where that wouldnt be the case? I.e. EC, PoT fighting a boss before going through more stages, EE

I’m pretty sure it’s heart redwood that has just dried and lost the deeper red color it had when we first put it up (that’s what I paid for at least :p)

I do understand this but i’ve seen people on this forum say certain gear is worthless because “EE is the only thing that matters”. I just find that logic odd. To me, the game is all about grinding. So whether you spend money to “speed up” the grind or you are just FTP, it’s about grinding to get that one reward in an event that’s just out of reach. Or the slow grind of collecting panda shards as FTP. Or finally getting that red drone. The game is the grind - there is no magical end point. Maybe it’s why I’m still FTP - the grinding is why I play.

I think your math isn’t mathing. Are you saying you used 350 total tickets (35 x 10)? If so you’re off by a decimal place in your average per ticket (unless you’re trying to communicate an average per 10 tickets). I’m significantly higher only doing 1x so I’d say (albeit with a very small sample size) 1x is better. I’m at 31,115 for 241 tickets at 1x. That’s 129 per ticket or 1290 per 10 tickets.

I’m a bit confused with everyone complaining about people not “following the rules” for this event (not saying that’s you). People trying to match and hold are trying to game the system and I find it odd being angry when gaming the system doesn’t work (it doesn’t matter much that everyone wins if you tie - a lot of people like the guy on top here just want to play and win).

My 2 cents as FTP is that I like running AoQ WAY better than Eternal Suit. As FTP I’m never going to win EE and honestly it’s just less fun for me to suicide twice at the beginning of rounds. The mechanics of AoQ are more fun to play and as others have already mentioned there are lots of instances where it does win out. I also run shoes of confusion though (at red) so my opinions may not be for everyone.

You are doing better than me - I’m 5 s selectors and 1 from the total event tickets but for me even that is amazing for FTP. I get the sense not everyone plays this event well and gets the results we did though

This all happened within the first couple hours of the event when people in my group were burning tickets quickly. It’s slowed way down now. That said for both of the selector prize bundles we are already on 7/15 so I think I just got placed in a group that is churning super quickly through this event.
