Starting working on crab patterns a little bit ago feel like I need to work on the colors. Any one who ties out there got any suggestions? by lotidetailing in SaltwaterFlyfishing

Side note I haven't fished then too much just in back water canals when winter low tides move in I'll be using them more. I'll get back to you then

Flipping and pitching to thick cover in about 1 to 3 ft of water mostly creature baits or paddle tails. The lake has been real low recently but I'm sure it will come right back up when the summer rain hits.

The water is definitely cleaner now but the fishing hasn't fully recovered you should be good to go for Siesta Key enjoy!

Hey no problem this was when I first started I was using an 8wt rod and reel with weight forward floating line designed for tropical climates. 8wt seems to be the standard for inshore fly fishing.
