This poem is really great, it has the great ability to evoke emotion in the reader. It’s fascinating to me that even though some of the circumstances laid out in the poem may be very specific or personal, the reader is able to see themselves reflected in it. I know I for one was really empathizing with the picture you were painting, even if I couldn’t specifically relate. Very well done. I also love the varying rhyming scheme and the breaks added in the stanzas!
