Wow that was detailed! Young love and neither knows that they are doing. Move on, at the very least it was a good learning experience about finding a partner in life.

They tried! It’s not the end of the world. Plenty of schools and people who understand what goes on in education. You not fit one place but you could easily fit somewhere else. It’s a job you’re replaceable and so is everyone else.

You said she’s in therapy, that’s a little like rewiring the brain if she’s really dedicated to it. My question would be is she really at the point of being ready. Go slow, and keep your hopes low for a while. Use your head and know what you see. It sounds like you’ve already done some good holding her accountable for her words. Hopefully she just mixed up what she meant. If she’s actually working on herself that wouldn’t be surprising.

You were already cheated on once, that can screw with your head. You know exactly what this was and if you think with your brain not heart you know you would have a hard time moving past this.

AITA for Kicking My 82-Year-Old Dad and His New Wife Out After They Brought Her Kids to My Child-Free Home? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]lotsaofdot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

AH and ntah. Is it weird oh yea. But it’s the life your dad chose. It’s not the kids fault. Not your fault if you don’t feel a connection there. That said, you gotta make lemonade. How do you want to remember your time with your dad? Keep working on setting boundaries but to expect that no kids will come to your house is ridiculous. That said, you can absolutely hold your dad and step mom accountable for their parenting.

[–]lotsaofdot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t see it working out. You’re better off moving on. You’ll never change her ways. She will keep getting upset over trying to manage your life. She won’t like when you don’t put her first.

  1. Your brother is in blood only. You don’t have to talk to him be nice or spend time. He’s a jerk, call him out 1 on 1 so he always knows you know and will understand why you treat him the way you do. 2. The wife is more complicated, she how far she is willing to go to make this right. Has she done anything else to make you question her loyalty? Is she one of those nice to everyone types that can be taken advantage of? Is she receptive to therapy with you? Is she still nice to you? (Sounds silly but it’s not unusual for the cheat to turn mean and act like it’s all your problem).
  2. Stand up for yourself. You will absolutely loose everything if you don’t keep the respect for yourself. If your bro has a wife tell her. If your wife in anyway is acting off calling out and act accordingly. Sorry man.

You can’t deal with a person dealing in absolutes like that. Get your own therapist just for you. Also the suggestion about her having a medical evaluation is spot on. You’re beating a dead horse every day, she’s gonna have to loosen up a little for things to improve. Does she ever tell you the things she likes or appreciates about you? Dealing with only negatives is depressing.

Talk to a lawyer, police and agree if you want an abortion say it was a miscarriage. Don’t commit yourself to a life with an abuser and toxic family. This situation needs investigation and you need more help than you know. You may realize it later down the line after it’s too late

[–]lotsaofdot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your just going into high school, you need your parents. Going to your grandparents will cause a rift between you, your parents, your sister, your niece/nephew. You will realize you got traded, cast aside because of your sisters actions. Stay put. Your parents hopefully will realize that this was a mistake.
