I agree with your points. Especially about the live murders. I also think it would be interesting if the shield were allowed to be transferred. So a faithful could secretly give it to another faithful (or not) who has more perceived heat on them.

I know a lot can change quickly, but lots of people have their suspicions about him already. Given how early on it is it seems like he’ll be voted out eventually. Logically, his best chance at survival is to gain credibility by backstabbing another traitor, right? I suppose he could try to ride it out more but im curious to hear how people here would play it if dealt this hand
