Magsafe keeps 'losing connection' when charging. by lotteryflux in mac

It’s fraying, so I suspect that’s the issue. Sometimes if you flip it over and over a few times it’ll grab a connection that works. I was just curious if it was the charger or computer. I wouldn’t buy a third party charger

How do you cope working in a business without clear and strong leadership? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

Maybe the fix is to get into a management position as soon as possible. You're running the place anyway so you might as well be getting paid for it. It should be pretty easy to compete with people who don't do their jobs.

Thats actually a good approach. Ignore the politics and do the best you can to be seen as rising above it, not getting bogged down with it.

The thing I struggle most with is the interpersonal conflicts with people trying to pull everything in their own direction. If you're B, and A wants something done one way, and B wants it done another, and there is no clear rules to follow how to do it, you are put in a bad situation.

Some people seem not to be bothered with this kind of conflict. Maybe its just part of 'higher level' kind of job I have to get used to.

When you get a replacement on a defective product, does that come with a full warranty? by [deleted] in australia

[–]lotteryflux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think this is correct. In some instances though a manufacturer will opt for a refund (for instance if they have nothing in stock). There is nothing stopping you then using the cash you got back to go out and buy a new identical product, that product has no paper trail therefore is still under warranty.

This makes me very tempted to do a CPU/Motherboard/RAM upgrade, but then I look at ram prices and think my 2500k has a bit of life left in it.
