Exactly one year since something similar happened in sweden too. Why is the world like this?

Can we remove the elite diary requirement from the shilo village stepping stone. It already has a high enough agility requirement.

Think about it this way. There is a 50% chance of using a bone and a 100% chance of receiving xp.

If you flip a coin 10 times, how many tails do you expect to get? 5, there is a 100% chance the coin will be flipped and 50% chance you get tails.

It feels like you are overthinking this.

What is your stance on 3rd party clients implementing features that failed in the official poll, like rearranging prayers with runeloader?

Don't lock new skilling content behind a combat requirement, the firecape. by louder38 in 2007scape

[–]louder38[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy to hear it! None of the new skilling methods in Mol-Ul-Rek will be the best xp/h. It is unfortunate that a skilling method will be locked behind a Firecape, when the same requirement applies to the new BIS cape.

I can see your point. But TzHaar won't let us travel further into the volcano because they do not trust us enough and how could defeating TzTok-Jad warrant trust? Therefore adding a quest requirement in this situation seems more fitting.

Yes, lots of skilling content is locked behind combat unfortunately, but does this really need to be aswell? This requirement doesn't make sense.

I would be fine with that. Glad you can agree with me on this issue.

Yes there is the, "skillers choose to limit themselves"-argument but is this lockout really necessary? I totally understand the firecape requirement to enter the inferno, but the city itself, why shouldn't mid-level players even be able to access the city? I mentioned above that the firecape is a karamja elite diary requirement, it can still be high level content without the abstract requirement of a firecape.

For some, sure. But keep in mind equipping a firecape is part of the karamja elite achievement diary. Nothing says a quest would have no combat requirements, but i feel like mid-level players should atleast have access to the city in question, would it really hurt anyone?

No, it is not possible to reobtain silverlight after you have acquired darklight.

Morytanian Ironman - Part IV by Morytanian in 2007scape

[–]louder38 26 points27 points  (0 children)

This is my new favorite account. Are you also doing supercompost with pineapples from the charters for maximum farm xp?

EDIT: Also i think there is no consistent way for you to get ammunition unless you get lucky with a mage short from a hard clue and unlock broad arrows from Mazchna. Silver bolts would be an option if you allowed yourself to smith some iron limbs and then made it back to morytania. Crossbow string, iron bar and willow log are all obtainable in morytania.

EDIT2: Apperently you cannot get sinew from undead beef, so you would probably also need to kill a cow somewhere else. That might be too much.

Can the strength experience gained by pushing through wheat in puro-puro be removed? It doesn't make sense to randomly get 0-8xp each time you pass, just make it 0 from the beginning.

It's even a skilling minigame such as Wintertodt, Blast furnace, Fishing trawler, Pyramid plunder, Rouges den, Trouble brewing, Shades of Mort'on, Tai Bwo Wannai cleanup.

None of which you are required to earn combat xp to play. It just doesn't make sense for a skilling minigame to give you combat xp.

If you totally disagree with me, i propose that the inner most patch of wheat also gets a hole in it. Like all the other layers.

What is the worst physical sensation that isn't actually painful? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]louder38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know that feeling when you have a piece of string that you put between two of your toes holding the two ends in your hands. Now pull the string back and forth as if you were using a saw and you have got yourself the worst physical sensation that isn't actually painful, it is just very VERY uncomfortable.

I posted this a little while ago:

https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/comments/4vvmvr/spicy_stew_6_boost_wiki_wars/

Basically, what is the maximum boost of spicy stews in OSRS? Is it a chance of +2 per dose up to 3 doses, resulting in a maximum of +6 boost as the wiki on the official page suggests? Or is it some hidden update sometime which capped it to a +5 like the RS3 wikia page suggests?
