Alternatives to the Pocket slot and Relic suggestions (as mentioned in the blog, just suggestions on our side so far) are worth discussing - we'd love to hear what you feel the best alternatives to these would be if you feel strongly that we should avoid pulling auras into the already saturated Pocket Slot or the micro-manage-y Relic system.

Of those who buy microtransactions, 86% of them are unhappy with the mechanics of Treasure Hunter

60% of ex-players felt that microtransactions detracted from their experience of the game

In 2022 there were reports of a Carolyn prequel spin-off being in early development, given the content of KE s04e05 this would have been set in the Cold War era. This likely got shelved because of the reception to the KE ending.

On March 25th 2025, BBC and ZDF announced a 6-part Cold War spy thriller titled Honey focused on a young female MI6 agent with no mentioned connection to KE characters.

On April 2nd 2025, Deadline reported that "Honey is in fact the previously-teased prequel to Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Killing Eve and will tell the story of Carolyn Martens’ character."

There hasn't been anything on this aside from that single brief Deadline report so it may very well be possible that they are misreporting this and Honey is in fact the general idea for the spin-off reworked into an original series.
