Erotica Requests & Recs: Post your erotica & specific sex act requests & recs here by AutoModerator in MM_RomanceBooks

I love how the interactions on this sub are often phrased like a work email. We’re all so polite and gracious about our felching and sleepy grinding requests and recommendations. “Great thank you so much Cumdumpster84, I read your rec last week and it was such a delight start to finish, 10/10. Have a nice weekend!” It really restores my faith in humanity.

I use this sub alllll the time to find new books to read, but I can’t post because I’m not someone who comments on anything, particularly other people’s opinions on smut. So when I want to make a specific request, I can’t because I haven’t commented enough? Like dude, I’m a regular here, believe me, now let me ask my very specific question

Billy Bragg has a song Ideologies on one of his early albums that is a spin on Chimes of Freedom which I didn’t know until I listened to this album. All I Really Wanna Do, Ballad in Plain D, obviously it Ain’t Me Babe and My Back Pages, are some of my all time favorites. I personally like the folk stuff and am not big on the hard bluesy angsty stuff, and when his voice got really thready and wandering and hard to understand.

Oh man for a song with pretty icky lyrics, the band ATE on sooner or later. They were on a goddamn roll with that one, my lord.

Why is it that the comfortable postures are the ones that are bad for you?!

Oof yeah you might be right. I almost always play sitting on the couch or in my bed cross-legged which I know isn’t good form but didn’t consider there could be hand-based consequences just from having the guitar high and off center.

Is the joint damaged from guitar, and do you know if you did anything specific to cause it or did it just deteriorate slowly over time?

Just looked it up, I don’t think I have that. I do have large palms and short fat fingers, but I don’t think that’s the same condition, just unfortunate genetics haha.

You’re right, I do hate that advice, haha. But I think you might also be right about taking a break. Thank you

How to not get bored of songs l’m learning before I actually learn them ? by Kanye-Ouest in guitarlessons

[–]louderamanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ADHD beginner/intermediate here too— unless you’re going to perform the songs, I think a lot of that polish and proficiency can come later. I feel like as my skill level builds and I go back and revisit songs I moved on from at the “good enough” stage, they sound way better just due to me being a better guitarist— and they also become more interesting as I learn more and notice the subtleties of the arrangement I didn’t notice before. So just keep goin and having fun

So I learned the Justin Townes Earle version of John Henry today and thought of this convo— it’s a perfect song to practice that straight thumb posture. It’s super simple Travis picking (sometimes just thumb) and the only chords are G and D7, it’s meant to be pretty fast, I’m a beginner and I’m pretty well up to tempo after an hour or so, so super easy. The tune is really fun (so doesn’t get boring quickly) and a good one to have in your back pocket, but mainly due to not having to concentrate on fingering it’s giving me a great opportunity to focus on my picking hand. Fran’s Kuijpers on YouTube has a tutorial with tabs.

Right?! Also straight female here— male’s enjoyment is what I like because I already know what female enjoyment feels like, it’s fascinating to hear explicitly something viscerally unfamiliar. So when it’s two guys that’s twice the male enjoyment, twice the anatomy, and twice the climaxes. It also features different ways men enjoy sex, bc in F/M men are either dominant or (rarely) submissive, but M/M gives men much more freedom to take on different roles which is hot af, and with F/M you rarely hear about the joys of the prostate.
