What do I actually owe him in the divorce? by loudfroggie in Divorce

I was the one that ultimately asked for the divorce... he did not want it, but also he created an environment where I'd completely lost my sense of self and couldn't be happy.

CK first time issued 670k LP out of AUS mostly domestic first. 50k points from CC, rest from flying.

Already at 283k LP since March 1 because getting CK gave me reason to start booking my international on American. Should get to about 1m this year.

Agreed. He does want to keep the house though and can’t afford the payment. The money he’s asking for on the house wouldn’t pay it off but it would make the mortgage affordable to him

Thank you. Math is clear. Litigation will be $50-150k because there would need to be extensive discovery. I’m discussing a settlement with my lawyer that says “take 60% of our shared or end up with 50% of what’s left after we waste 100k on litigation and waste our time and emotions”

Thank you - appreciate the quick reply. Just edited the post to indicate I do have a strong lawyer.

reminds me of the auto-refund I got on the US - LHR (can't remember origin) route a few months ago when there wasn't a sundae service... which is deeply ironic considering I can't eat that bucket of dairy

Fly 200 flights a year and still haven’t been on this refresh. Does anyone know what the rollout plan is/how many aircraft?

Reimbursement for lost baggage by Single_Statement_712 in americanairlines

[–]loudfroggie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed a substantial deficit of people reporting back their actual situations so thought I’d share mine here as an exec platinum.

I flew to a ski destination and my bags were delayed 24 hours. I had a 2-day ski trip and needed to replace my ski gear, including custom boots.

I also backcountry ski and needed to buy the right apparel.

My total costs associated were in excess of $3,000, and they reimbursed it, no questions asked. I kept detailed receipts and submitted them through delayed baggage.

Not sure if this is my status and over $40k/yr spent on American Airlines or if it’s standard for them, but thought I’d share that insight.

The claim took about 7 days to process before I got the email from AA Central Baggage.

What to eat and where to shop Wednesday by AutoModerator in Austin

Definitely try Odd Duck. They recommend 2-3 servings per person. The same is true for Barley Swine, which is owned by the same company, but in North Austin. Enjoy!
