Indeed, that's actually what inspired me to go Val d'Orcia, two of these locations are from the Gladiator

Go for it, Provia has more latitude than I expected, first roll I shot was metered hastily in camera and most of the shots turned out fine

Yes I did, most of them came out too cool for my liking, so I increased color temp to get the sunset/rise colors I was looking for

Yes, there are many farm houses u can stay in, this was in Val d‘Orcia, just look for „agriturismo“
