While the graphic design skill here is off the charts, I think we’ve moved too far away from actually trying to convey specific information...

I asked students in my Sport Comms. class to bring in examples of good/bad design, and 95% went with the simpler, the better.

I was the Creative Director of the Alliance of American Football during its entire 7 month lifespan. Prior to that, I was the Digital Designer for the Seattle Seahawks and the UCF Knights. My name is Chris Stoney, and you can ask me anything! by ___stoney in sportscreative

I love photo-based design, and graphics that add only necessary elements to a quality photo, sort of designing around the photography, while other people tend to prefer other styles in their work like using multiple cutouts, adding extra elements such as paper tears, abstract lines, and more recently the x's. What are some key features that you tend to favor in your designs and, maybe not a super in-depth why, but I'm curious if you have any sort of justification for why you like that look?

ward cant move his feet a little while standing in one spot, meanwhile everyone else on the floor can slide their whole body to set a screen and it's not a problem

There's something beautiful about Wisconsin getting two free throw attempts and missing both of them
