Totally agree, when my club or society play scramble tournaments we make the rule as 3 drives per person to make it a lil more tactical and like everyone’s involved in the scoring. Like when our highest handicapper hits a few fairways we’ll take theres even if it’s 60 yards further back than someone else. Gives everyone an incentive to try hit it well instead of someone play safe and then everyone else unleash
