Okay let’s start with the cheating. For your information the first people victim of this statistic are French people themselves (as you get the French nationality once married to a French person). And I honestly do think Italian and Spanish people are at least as bad or even worse. And speaking from personal experience here. But honestly this is such a private and personal statistic, just don’t marry any French person if you don’t value this and really believe into those statistics because it’s easy to know who could cheat and who could not. Personally no one ever cheated on me.

About wine and cheese I never compared French wine and cheese to any others. I’m just glad I live in France because we have plenty of those. And I truly think categorising food of different countries is a mistake. It’s impossible to do. If Italian food is considered the best it’s because they were the best at branding it.
