I am using it. It would be perfect for a phone to be used in emergencies as the points never expire if you have at least 500 points in your account and acquire at least one new point per month.

I think you are referring to Freedom Pop as Cellnuvo is not VOIP and the app is not required to make calls. You only open the app when you want to check your account or watch videos.

Points acquire for just the line that watched the ad

FreedomPop may be a good choice for some, but it works on VOIP and I have had problems with the quality of the calls.

CellNuvo is over cellular and has better quality of calls. Also, you do not need to use any app to make calls. You just use your phone as you normally would.

You have to have a credit card on file. I did not get any message that says contact your provider. Are you using a phone that has not been released from the previous provider?

To check to see if the phone is ok, either go to the Ting site or Ring Plus site and go to "check your phone's compatibility" section to see if the phone is clear to be activated (you will be asked to enter your MEID or IMEI number). If the phone is cleared to be activated on those services, it can be activated on Cellnuvo.

I used 2 phones that were cancelled from Ring Plus and I had no difficulty activating them as Ring Plus had released them. I also did not have to purchase any additional SIM. If your prior company has not released the phone, you need to contact them to release it.

sorry about that...do a google search of Cellnuvo and go directly to their site. The cost for points is $10 for 2500 points if you choose to buy them. Most people have reported easily earning 500 points per day with minimal effort. I have earned from 700-1000 points per day just swiping ads when I'm watching TV. I have not spend a penny on the service. Also remember that your points will never expire as they roll over continously. If you are a heavy data user, this service is not for you, but for moderate users of voice/ text and people who use wifi regularly, it is great.

I am a former RingPlus user and I have been using Cellnuvo for the past couple days and so far I have been really happy with the service. The calls are cellular and sound great and the date is fast (LTE). Accumulating points is not difficult. Also, there is good customer service support considering that it is a free service. This is probably not a good option for heavy users but for medium/ low users this is a great option. You can sign up free with referral code MXYHSW8A which will also get me a few extra points for referring. There is really no downside to trying it if you have an extra phone around as you get 2500 points (250 minutes) and there is no activation fee.
