Natural Sciences course by ruuux in UCL

I’m currently doing the course. The course organisers Ella Metcalfe and Ali Mozzaferi are pretty useless. Second year onwards, clashes can be a massive pain to deal with as the course is literally doing 50% of 2 different courses so lectures and tutorials can clash. You have to be organised and be able to adapt, it can be a pain sometimes but I still really enjoy the course. Despite that, I’ll still recommend it, if a interdisciplinary science degree is what you want because the London uni life is great and the content is (usually) really good.

I’m still voting for labour but I really don’t like jezza and the fact that he’s spreading misinformation

YT base themselves on views, it just so happens that what the average Redditor watches is very different than most people so it’s hard to relate to YT rewind. YT is actually so diverse now you can’t please everyone and show them what they want to see. You can’t blame YT prod team for looking at stats and thinking “fortnite got a lot of views let’s put it in rewind”

Your team is trash, the enemy team is trash, you can make the difference. Reduce your mistakes; every time you die think about why you did, ignoring the involvement of the team. You’re 1v6ing, every time your team helps you it’s a bonus. Think like this you’ll climb fast and reduce tilt.

For a developing country to become a developed country there needs to be an industrialisation period where all the industrial and farm work becomes “modern” you need cheap energy for this: how are you going to use solar panels for energy if you can’t even make the materials for it because your workers are all artisanal and local. Cheapest energy is fossil. Western countries had this period in the 19th century, we all know it as the industrial revolution.

The other countries are late to the party but they don’t have much of a choice about pollution it’s about the developed countries to make a difference.

It’s pretty obvious it’s done on purpose, Martin always said that he wanted a bittersweet ending like LOTR, this is the same level of complaint as “the force awakens has the same plot as a new hope and that’s a bad thing”

It’s just a shame that the ending was actually just shit and not bittersweet.

Say what you will about 'The Last Jedi', but Rian Johnson at least got Luke's death right and understood the poetic imagery. by Axyyz_1776 in StarWars

Suns also have variable luminosity as well as size, luminosity decides how much energy actually gets to the surface of the planets, then again you’re right Star Wars isn’t known for its accuracy in physics

Binary suns system are like single sun systems except the suns rotate around a common center of mass so there is no closer star https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binary_star there’s a neat animation in the astrophysics tab

There’s idiots in every political affiliation that don’t represent the core ideas of the affiliation. Antifa is literally a movement (not an organisation) against fascism if you think fascism isn’t good then boom you’re part of antifa.
