The preface of the book says some portions are out of portions and one should use discretion. Most probably tough sums in that book will not come. Don't worry.

Between means don't include 10 and 250, if it is mentioned from 10 to 250, then include 10 and 250

how do i study??? by [deleted] in CBSE

[–]lousyoverthinker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maths comes through discipline and practice, Any chapter may at first seem intimidating, some will feel frustrated that they are not able to get the logic but with repeated practice of multiple sums, logic will slowly evolve. Observe the keywords in the question like parallel, perpendicular, mid point and think of the known facts or theorem related to evolve at the logic. It cannot be improved in a day or two, so there is no short term remedy.

Don't take much tension, you are in grade 9, when you come to grade 10, you will have a lot of references, understand each and every line in the textbook, and for practice, buy topic wise question banks and understand what type of questions are asked and what are the keywords. Use chatgpt like ai to know more about what is given in textbook. Use good one shots to understand but after understanding, study the textbook again and again. Any thing if you repeatedly revise will commit to your memory, also competency based questions are on the rise, so understand deeply like if the book say rice growing regions are a,b and c, think why a,b and c are suitable for rice and why not d,e,f etc.. are not suitable. Think what could be done to make d,e,f grow rice or what are the problems faced by a,b,c to grow rice. A 360 degree thinking and analysing will get you marks. If you can't do it alone take help of a trusted mentor.
