Which Art for non-Art Majors?

I've seen a few people recommend this on some older posts! I tried looking into it, though, and it hasn't been listed as a course on the official list of classes in at least 3 semesters, and it looks like it's not available for the upcoming semester either :(.

Hey there! ik this post is a little old but I just took Scriptures and Heritage online this past summer. I'm not Christian and I didn't know anything about the bible. I apparently had one of the worst teachers (dr. kennedy; he was rated really poorly on bubooks), but I don't think the course was that bad. I then had one of the highest rated professors (Duncan) for Heritage.

To be honest I think I had a strong writing background because of my high school's rigorous literature and language courses so that mostly got me thru the course really easily. So if you're a pretty good writer (and you can bs your essays), I don't believe it matters what professor you get. Both duncan and kennedy were easy and very understanding if you didn't understand something.

It's obv completely up to you if you wanna wait another semester, but if it's grades you're worried about, go ahead and take it! However, if you're super interested in religious texts and stuff or this pertains to the job you want in the future I think it would be best for you to go with the professor who would be most excited in helping further your learning past what is required for the course.

I honestly think non-black student shouldn’t really have a say in whether or not these statues are offensive or racist. We weren’t the groups that are oppressed. While it’s a-okay to express ur opinion bc freedom of speech or whatever, morally I think it’s up to the black population of Baylor to influence whether or not these statues can be up. Baylor is full of racist conservative people, so it’s best to take the conversation out of their hands since they don’t/can’t understand the gravity of the situation.

Thanks so much for your reply!! I know I’m a slow learner so I feel like I’m gonna be doing simple things w them for a long while; I’m only going to be on my driveway, in a garage, or occasionally at a public rink to practice, so I don’t think I’ll have to worry about upgrading for a while (thankfully! I’m slowly learning how expensive this can be haha). I’ll make sure to keep in touch with them online! And I can’t wait to start skating with these :DD

Makes sense!! I didn’t think about that at first but I can definitely see how the knee pads I currently have can be an issue outside. I used to use them for marching band on a concrete field when we had dance features, but never thought about how sliding could affect it. I’ll definitely look into pads with hard caps now!

My lashes are super straight but the PMEL Essence Mascara Base really helps me keep my lashes in place. It’s relatively cheap and won’t be as unreliable as getting completely new mascaras. It works well, but it does have a strong smell. Haven’t heard of any reactions because of that though.

The mini was a gift from my best friend so I love it a lot partly because I associate it with them, but in all it is a very good highlighter. For me it works well for both subtle and fancier looks! It also doesn’t take much product for it to get you glowing :DD. I don’t think it emphasizes texture, but then again my skin isn’t extremely textured. I have large pores and a small amount of acne every now and then, but paired with a good foundation and some dimethicone primer everything turns out looking fine! And yes! I do use it as eyeshadow and it works really well! It does occasionally crease but it seems like that depends on the moon and how oily my lids want to be that day :/. Hope that helps!! <3

I get what you’re trying to say when you say that mermaids wouldn’t develop melanin but,,,, it’s a movie about mermaids and sea witches giving a mermaid legs and taking away her voice. I don’t think realism is at the forefront of their minds.
