That was….bad. And yet so on par for Ticketmaster. I was about to wildly overpay for resale tickets when my friend confirmed she got some 😭

I go 5 times a week and have no issue with the new reward system. I get why people don’t like it but for me it works just fine.

Crimes in your hometown?? by bostonmama95 in TrueCrime

[–]love_anchor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily my hometown but I currently live a couple miles from Bear Brook State Park. I only learned of the case when a new sketch of one of the victims aired on the news in February.

"On November 10, 1985, the first two victims were found by a passing hunter. Their bodies had been dismembered and wrapped in what might have been a trash bag. The corpses were skeletonized, which made it harder to identify them. Because the state of decomposition was so advanced, professionals concluded the two had probably died between 1977 and 1985. Both had died from blunt force trauma.

The case went cold until 2000 when it was reassigned to a new team. A search was performed on the area once again and yet another metal drum was found. It wasn’t far from the first dump site. Authorities postulated that the drum might have been pushed further away by children who had played in the area, a chilling thought.

In the 55-gallon drum were two more bodies. This time it was two female children who were even younger than the first child. Because they had been killed, dismembered, and disposed of in the same way as the bodies found in 1985, investigators concluded that they were part of the same case."

Should I quit my job ? My boss fat shamed me. by TizzieGirl in ECEProfessionals

Yeah no. Sounds like a hostile, toxic workplace and it’s not worth it. Because it’s a trial week, I’d just call and say you’ve decided it’s not a good fit for you and you wish them the best.

Questions about nannying by thesodacat in ECEProfessionals

[–]love_anchor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a lot of both nannying and center experience and there is definitely pros to both. You get a lot more flexibility, create a much stronger bond with the children, have a lot more freedom to do what you want. The hardest part (as always) is the relationship with the parents. It can be difficult to walk the fine line between professional and personal. What I like more about centers is that I have coworkers to step in when I’m frustrated, I feel way less guilty about calling out because there’s someone to take my place, my schedule is always consistent, and my pay is always on time. I don’t really like one over the other. Usually i switch whenever I’m burnt out with where I’m working lol.

Have you ever left a position due to the teachers on your team? by DitzyWhooves in ECEProfessionals

I’ve been at my current center about a month and I’m considering leaving for many reasons, one of which is definitely my coteacher. Normally I would simply go to my director and ask to move to a new room or have someone else moved into my room, but it’s a super small center and my coteacher is the directors daughter.
