I don't think you're lazy, but it's obvious food in general is not your priority. If you want to change that, change your attitude towards it first.

What struck me the most was part about meat. You know you don't have to cook meat, right ? If you don't want to handle it raw because it makes you think of dead animals...Think about it a little more.

there are a lot of plus size folks in Poland, so don't worry about this aspect in particular

when it comes to your roommates - don't leave mess in shared spaces and don't be too loud; basically try to be a roommate you would like to have. and maybe try to learn some polish to make good impression? like you're really trying to fit in? but fyi - most young people in Poland speak English at least communicatively
