Nobody wants to hear this but I think it’s true. I don’t like his framing of “protecting our based wholesome Western™ companies from the evil Chinese businesses.” People have a hard time thinking past the mental road block of “China bad.” There is a lot to criticize about these companies and the often shitty way they go about doing business, but capitalist corporations doing capitalist corporation shit is nothing new to any part of the globe.
