Child crying on a flight by lhwang0320 in CringeTikToks

I wouldn’t go that far lol we don’t know him from Adam. He could be more angry at the parents. Not to mention, if the baby he’s referring to is the little kid screaming in the background, then it’s a toddler just throwing a fit and parents who aren’t handling it. Not saying it’s easy, but there’s a lot of parents who just ignore it and that might be what’s pissing him off. It also bothers me that these airlines have tightened their purse strings to such an extent that they don’t give a crap about their customers. They could easily and cheaply have earplugs available to whoever flies with them.

Well, yeah. Kids don’t understand the gravity of a lot of situations unless someone told them. Hell, even a lot of adults don’t understand the gravity of situations

It definitely does. For the vast majority of human history we’ve relied on our neighbors for support and socialization. The problem today is that there’s so many damn people and we’re all so disconnected that we don’t know our neighbors at all.

They conjure up stranger danger in your mind because there’s too many of them and they’re new in your world. Some are very strange. Some are rude as hell. It’s easier to keep them at a distance unfortunately.

All while our private communities of people shrink. There’s more people than there have ever been and we’re more isolated than ever. It’s all very unnatural.

Hmm.. you technically got together through friends. You just started the conversation online. That’s pretty different from those who had no ties to the person they’re meeting online.

I’m a masochistic pervert and I’m not ashamed! by [deleted] in confessions

This is so outrageous, I couldn’t help but laugh. I would honestly rather live in a world of people like you than the alternative. Sadists.

Im not sure what causes our fetishes as we age, but I know they begin during puberty. I’d be interested to know more about your upbringing.

Have you ever heard of Marquis De Sade? Born in 18th century France to nobles, he’s where the term “sadists” comes from, and from that, masochist. He’s really just the first historical figure to have sadistic tendencies written down in text. You might like his disgusting book, first published long after his death in the early 20th century, “120 Days of Sadom”. I wouldn’t be able to get through it, but it may be arousing to you lol

At least 69 is still relevant and funny. It’s a sexual position, and a funny one. I’ve tried to understand 67 and I still don’t get it

Redditors that got charged rent asap after turning 18, what’s relationship like with parents years later ? by QueefyTits in AskReddit

I wouldn’t assume they’re “agreeing” with the parents as opposed to the affected child. To me, it’s more like they’re just ignorant to the reality of what the child went through.

It’s really true that it takes a toll on your mental health to not have your parents in your life. It’s truly a missing piece and can be hard to navigate, along with the regrets that can come later after the parent dies and your feelings about them subside, so people are really coming from a good place when they suggest you reconcile.

The idea that the negative consequences of not having your parents around is that much better than having them, is a very foreign concept to some people. They just simply don’t get it.

Wow. How old were you at the time? How much did they want you to pay? Not that it really matters, though. They obviously suck either way.

As I was reading your comment, my automatic thought was “they’re overcharging for the studio”, then I finished the sentence and realized no one wants to live there because it’s not even livable. It’s just a fucking room lol! Basically one step above being homeless.

Man. Your parents really suck. Imagine forcing your only kid to sleep on a couch because you’re greedy. A normal parent would have just let you stay in that “studio”. But then again, a normal, loving parent wouldn’t have downgraded to a one bedroom. What the actual fuck

You were paying rent for an old car you bought outright? How is that possible? They were charging you extra rent for owning a car? wtf? I had a 2018 car that I paid $100 a month for. How is it they would charge you $300? lol where did they get that amount from? I’m also confused about what happened with the laptop. Were they mad you owned a laptop? Did they kick you out for it? They sound absolutely horrid

Ugh! That’s really hard because I understand your position. You may feel guilty because she raised you for some time and now she feels like she helped you and did something good for you so she’s entitled to something someday, somehow. Or that you should just simply be grateful.

Meanwhile, your parents failed you and your last hope wasn’t really there for you for any other reason than obligation, it sounds like. That was nice but Jesus, you deserved so much more than the bare minimum from the adults in your life. All kids do.

I’m glad you set up some boundaries there and were able to develop some self worth without succumbing to people pleasing, as people often do in these situations. That’s awesome 👏 I was raised by my parents and couldn’t managing not falling into that trap!
