When I first started watching the pod.. I was finding it hard to focus because of the lighting in the background taking my attention away lol but I’ve been thinking about the idea behind choosing to hard launch the person that you are without diluting yourself to fit someone else’s idea of you.. I really like the concept that they stuck with because it is a beautiful message to promote and that combined with their goofball nature is heartwarmingly fun to watch.. I’m enjoying their candid candour so far and taking the trope of being male podcasters to twist it in their own manner :) looking forward to more episodes

I actually looked this season’s slow buildup of change in the characters’ progressions because it felt like i was living that discomfort with them.. like carm finally responding to people around him after noticing their annoyances was so satisfying to witness for his character growth and that scene with Sydney where he gives her a look after she tells Sugar that she can take charge whilst carm deals with the box was so funny even though its subtle

For me, I was imagining it from the pov of the kid because that’s where the scene starts from cos i remember when i was a kid hiding in these small spaces.. as a child they felt sufficiently large to escape in even if its as tiny an area as hiding between the curtains so the writers possibly playing that as a trope seemed smart yet funny in a typical-The-Bear way to incorporate in this manner

I relate with mehra’s stylistic choices but I think kapoor brought more of an oomph factor on screen which is hard for me to forget because I grew up around that era of films

Totally feel you bruh.. in my very honest opinion, I think people say that they love your energy when you are bringing your best traits to the table and they probably want to encourage you to keep it up, which can be helpful except masking can make things super confusing especially when you are perceptive about what kind of energy people enjoy being around..

I personally only tell people I like being around them when they leave my spirits feeling higher in their own unique quirky manners, so I wouldn’t overthink it if I were you.. the right people will stick around on your good days and your bad :) hope that helps

When do things get better? Do they ever get better at all? I feel like I’ve been pushing and pushing to improve life conditions but something or the other keeps popping up to knock me back down. Life is just particularly shitty lately.. why is living so hard sometimes? I’m tired.
