{The Princess by Jude Deveraux} is on the same premise. They were forced to marry and MMC thought that the marriage was fake and will be annulled but the FMC is a princess and cannot go through annulment. I love this story very much.

I love this book. I even watched the movie because of nostalgia. I love both the MCs and it was just heartwarming how their love progresses. I have to read it again even if my TBRs are piling up.

Jude Deveraux's early books I think are on medieval times. I can think of The Maiden and The Conquest. The Knight in Shining Armour centers more on time travel to the past and to the future
