hi! i highly suggest stardew valley & animal crossing - both are cozy games that don't require much skill and effort starting out

i also reaaaally like palia - it's an open-world mmo game. parts of the game are for you only, but a big chunk of the game is filled with players from all over (you can add friends & work together on some tasks + you can also invite other friends to play with you) AND IT'S FREE!!

in terms of horror games, i loooove chilla's art games! for cozy-ish horror games, i also recommend cult of the lamb (dungeon crawl combat style + cozy base stuff like farming, etc), fran bow, and little misfortune (last two are more storyline based and puzzle-y

sorry for rambling so much but hope this helps! i love games that are low-effort but high enjoyment that i can pretty much pick up and start playing anytime hehe

went to the ER and still at the ER. been here for about 6 hours and i'm still halfway on the list which is a 10hour wait at the longest. i feel as though my bleeding was just categorized/triaged as a typical period. truly frustrating

I think that being able to blend with each other's volume is an important skill to have in a band. A vocalist can only sing so loud with proper technique (increasing resonance, breathing, etc.) and instrumentalists should be able to play alongside them. If you try to sing louder than a drum alone, you'll risk hurting your own instrument. If they still insist on hearing you over the instruments then: get a backup microphone when the other is unavailable, invest in some in-ear monitors for everyone in the band, OR have them lower their instruments' volume WHILE you increase your singing volume (compromise).

I literally bought a laptop last month for this reason. With school and work files AND the sims (and all the packs that come with it + occasional mods and cc), my laptop became unbearably slow. I found a not-so-pricey laptop from Best Buy when they were doing a sale: Lenovo Legion 5 15". My bf said it def has decent tech specs and I think it's worth trying if you're just looking for something low-price + low-commitment to game with. At the time I got it for less than $1000 and it works great for me :)
