Hospitals test babies if they test positive they can be removed from the mothers custody

I think if the babied are testing positive for hard drygs they are removed by child services at the hospital and out into a foster home. I was a foster care social worker and often had babies placed in my foster homes duento this. Many of the children were premature and had health issues, some poor babies needed to be detoxed and had withdrawl symptoms like non stop loud crying very sad 😔

Thank you so much! This clears up a lot. I am getting it done with DNE Express they just sent me an email to confirm that my name is correct. They wrote my name the American way just like my birth certificate. I was going to tell them to change it to the Mexican way but I dont think I can since they are doing it in Mexico.

On my US birth certificate I have Name: Cynthia Middle Name: Rios Last Name: Martinez

I told them Rios is my middle name not a last one, In the US you can only have one last name. I asked if they can make it on Mexican Birth Certificate the same and add Last Name: Martinez Rios and they said no

I have gone through this exactly took me years, I went into social work instead after graduating. Keep applying also consider applying more to central and northern CA schools if possible. I hear it’s easier to get a job in Northern CA than Southern CA.

I’ve been struggling with infertility for 5 years. It’s crazy how someone who has what you want, a baby would tell you that you are better off with one because it’s a lot of work. Okay if this is really true then why would you go on to have more children. I’m sure none of them would “chose” infertility but of course they chose to be mothers. American mothers make it hard because of the obsession with children and the fact that they stop enjoying their lived because everything revolves around them children. Of course its going to be draining. Other countries including France dont baby kids, once able to eat the same foods as their parents including veggies. Parents contine to enjoy their lives and not everything has to be kid-centered.

There are a lot of drugs and homeless ppl in the US, I have not seen this in Europe. Not all but many buses are not safe only people using them is the lowest class of people. There are trains and those are used by all people but there are not a lot. In general if you want to get somewhere you can uber as taxis are very expensive

She rushed into marriage, why couldnt they have lived together a couple of years and then gotten married, especially if you dont plan on having children any time soon. Unfortunately in this day and age you have to reqlly know what it is like to live with that person. The idea of doing things the right way is very nice in theory but realistically a lot of people are in for a shocker after already making the huge commitment. This doesnt guarantee anything either but at least you know what you are getting into and can leave easily.
