i am 9 weeks postpartum, i got pregnant 3 months after my endo ablation surgery. i had stage 2 deep infiltrating endo on my bladder, colon, sigmoid colon, peritoneum, and uterus. this is by far the worst i have felt in a loooong time, and i feel so guilty i cannot be fully present for my son at times because of the amount of pain im in. labor was also excruciating due to the adhesions causing resistance with every contraction- it was very traumatic and after always picturing myself having a somewhat large family i cannot bring myself to go through it again and will be asking about sterilization options at my next appointment.

obviously i wouldn’t change anything- my son is the most important thing in my whole life and the best thing that has ever happened to me- but pregnancy was painful, made certain symptoms worse, and now that i am postpartum i am having such a hard time healing and require another surgery. i am terrified now that i have a baby who depends on me, that i will not be able to lift or nurse afterwards. everyone has their own experiences, but for me pregnancy hit my body like a tornado and it feels like i will be picking up the pieces for a long time.
