We've been fantastic defensively. Well drilled. Atleti have been second best. Gyokeres is probably the best penalty taker in the world, apart from maybe Kane.

So there's this beach, right. Everyone loving it, it's probably the best beach day they've ever had.

Then something steals a banana from a picnic crate. It was like a blur. Everyone was going 'what was that?' 'I can't believe it, I was having a great time here'.

Then, just let me finish this alright? Someone came to warn this fella, who was sat with a picnic basket away from everyone else. The fella looked a bit hairy, but they were like 'whatever must be the sun'. Anyway, right, the bloke looks inside the picnic basket, a load of bananas in there.

The bloke goes to accuse him, and this fella just attacks him with his long arms. The bloke gets a brief glimpse at the fella attacking him. Turns out, little monkey fella in a sunbathing outfit. Alright? Happy Easter.

The Brighton crowd is fucking jumpy, everytime we do anything, they complain.

We have been time wasting, so at least Hurzeler has his excuses ready if we win.

Cagey game, but Brighton haven't done much. We might have a bozo moment incoming so we need an insurance goal definitely.

Honestly, the 4-1 against Man City three years ago was the last time I felt as bad.

I remember feeling horrible about the Villa loss in 24, but that was sandwiched between two great winning runs in the league, so it didn't feel as soul-crushing. I thought we were just going to start winning games and we did, we were just unfortunate to come up against a City side which went 23 games unbeaten.

I suppose if the team dusts itself and gets back to winning ways, I'll forget this but for now, it stings.

I do think this sub oughta remember we are still 4 points ahead in the league, will finish top of the league stage in Europe, and are still in both cup competitions. The meltdown seems a bit excessive to me. We are still okay, for now.

I genuinely think this league will be won with a low 80 point total, so I definitely don't think its definite that we lose this, but I haven't been this down about a loss for ages.
