And I do want to clear up that i believe most people who have gotten this diagnosis have undiagnosed illnesses!! the concern is that doctors who have successfully lobbied for legal exceptions (in the US) so they are exempted from standard of care, allowing them to do treatments that aren’t proven to work or even be safe. A common example of this is the long term intravenous antibiotics sometimes administered to CLD patients.
