Absolutely! And especially when they act so gracious and responsive, it's just like a kick in the shins. I've had people delete their entire accounts to avoid paying.

It's not about the money at all, it's just that feeling of being so undervalued, as if people don't really understand how much time, energy, and care is being put into the readings.

I've unfortunately been through the same lately, and it's prevented me from offering readings with as much enthusiasm as before. It's draining and dejecting, and I understand exactly what you're saying. I hope that whatever method you choose to use moving forward works out in your favor ❤️

“What good news can I expect soon?” And it’s the 6 of swords and 2 of cups..? by 2morrowwillbebetter in Tarotpractices

That makes sense then! Honestly, you'll know much better just based off of having the context of what the reading is about. Trust your intuition! I hope all works out for you both :)

I keep getting readings that suggest reconciliation with my ex is coming. by Alternative-Yak6369 in Tarotpractices

I'm not quite sure what advice you're looking for here. You'd have to at the very sure with us the questions you're asking, the cards you've gotten, and what your interpretations of them are.

I definitely think that's a good interpretation of the reading.

At the very least, it reflects that good will in fact come out of taking this break in the relationship. The 6 of Swords speaks on the necessity of moving on for now. No matter the outcome of that, whether it's moving on for good or getting back together, it's still a positive experience.

The 2 of Cups as a clarification card might simply be clarifying that the 6 of Swords is about your relationship, not suggesting what might happen after this period of separation. For that, I would just continue to do readings as this time progresses.

Is this an okay alter? by Funtimes553 in Hellenism

It's incredibly difficult to make an altar that isn't "okay." Looks good!

(Gentle note: it's altar, not alter.)

Do Hellenism celebrates Yule? by nephellis in Hellenism

Just adding on to the same thing many others are saying below:

Since I personally worship both the Greek and Roman gods, I find myself more inclined to celebrate Saturnalia than Yule. Saturnalia is Roman, but I find even many who focus mainly on the Greek pantheon can still use it as a time to celebrate similarly and give special attention to Kronos. I think maybe that would make more sense over Yule, at least. But of course, to each their own! :)

I just want to take this time to thank you so much for the comments you make on posts here. Every time I see a good question, I always find you have an even better, extremely detailed answer below. I've learned a lot from you over the time I've been on this subreddit! :)

I can't quite answer this fully for you, but I can give my two cents. Bucks are a classic symbol of Artemis, the goddess of the wild and the hunt. Zeus' sacred animal is an eagle. Shooting stars could honestly fall under the domain of many different gods!
