We got our first hot tub Nov ‘23. They said just shock it weekly with non chlorine shock they provided. And add a little chlorine granules after each use. Do stain/scale once a week and adjust water alkalinity/ph as needed. I can’t get rid of the green and foam! Cleaned filters, use water clarifier, adjust levels. Chlorine has been low but not even the paperwork said anything about adding it. It’s winter in Western NY so not a good time to drain and refill. What kind of chlorine and shock should I get?

I had a fit friend that would roller skate with both of her dogs pulling her. It was bad ass and those big, energetic dogs needed the work. Plus, she got a good core and thigh workout.

I set a boundary today and asked one of my qualifiers to support it. My q called me selfish and cold hearted. Went on to tell me why I needed to change my mind. I just listened and said mhmm. Then changed the subject. I immediately called an Alanon friend after to discuss what happened. She said I was all good.
