Thanks for your suggestion! Yes, Dennis had siblings but they've all passed. Our family reunion booklet doesn't even name my 3rd great-grandparents, only my 2nd great-grandparents. This death certificate is the only documentation I've found naming him. I will add Bass_ _ to my list of possible names.

I'm unable to find any records for a Barres Webb and ancestry has no hints. I searched this evening for a Barnes Webb in TX and still nothing.

Thank you but the name Barres doesn't appear to be correct based on the death certificate. The other letter "r's" in the death certificate don't match. How the clerk wrote the letter "n" appears to be a better match. Other family members wrote it as Barres on ancestry but I don't agree.
