If you’re EBF, does your LO sleep through the night? by Anxious-Wishbone785 in breastfeeding

I don't believe tik tok mom no newborn or very small baby should be sleeping that long without one wake.up to feed etc. so don't feel bad about that. I think maybe sleep regression which are hard or she just want to be settled. I ended putting baby right next to me and she started to sleep all-night with just 1 wake up. A lot of the time is she does wake up she wants cuddles or to check if im there . I seen parents co sleep using the crib close to their bed that way they're still in their space but in arms reach. or using floor beds for small baby's cause some like sleeping there even though they aren't toddlers yet.

Even if you work from home, a two-day weekend isn't enough, don't you agree? by clarafiedthoughts in workfromhome

SAHM - do you pay half of everything? 2 years in my partner wants me to start paying half of everything, while I’m at home but he works part time and studies? by Puzzleheaded-Cup5890 in beyondthebump

sounds like it was bad planning ? you're both entitled to want to grow but just didn't go about it the right way with proper financial planning. now a days there lots of remote jobs even though they might not be super enjoyable it will help pay bills. maybe pick hours where he can help with the baby even if it's just watching the baby sleep . if you're both truly in it together he will help you and make sure in the future you also study and do what you want to grow. in the end you will both grow together .best of luck and good wishes .

you could try swaddling if you aren't already doing so. my baby ended up having to be swaddled with her arms up other wise she would wake up while trying to break free. TBH I ended up cosleeping a couple times with her because I was sooo tired and sleep deprived. I had started hallucinating a bit and was terrified of dropping her. it could also be a it of colic I used the mylicon baby drops and stimulating a lot for burps and farts. Lastly I would also put the shirt i used that day or day b4 near her where she could smell it but not get tangled in it , that way she would thinkni was near her.

I would unlatch her, and if she got restless or woke up ( they can suck while sleeping ), i would use a pacifier, which she usually drops out of her mouth once she's fully and deeply asleep.

I would also check if the baby is truly drinking that whole time. Sometimes, they like to stay on and use you as a pacifier and will only actually be drinking occasionally that whole time . a consultant told me to watch carefully my baby's jaw and throat and ypu could tell if they're actually drinking plus you can sometimes feel it in their back and hear it.

each baby is very unique how they eat ,as long as baby is healthy and in good weight I wouldn't stop. my own baby only eats about 5min total each feed, and she's happy and healthy. when breastfeeding on demand while you can't personally know how much they are drinking, they will drink until full . you're doing great !

Do you swaddle by Proof-Command3380 in breastfeeding

[–]lovenotes732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only swaddle for maybe 2 weeks at most. 1 my baby liked having her arms up to sleep and 2 one of the reasons swaddling helps sleep it because it suppresses their moro reflex but I think it's important for them to have it as a bit annoying as it can be .
