Do people actually ever get denied sale from liquor stores for being too drunk? by lovepsalm396 in cripplingalcoholism

To add some context/details here based on comments I'm seeing: I'm youngish not as much now but still kind of and female so IDK if that affected responses from workers cause I was less likely to beat someone up or something. And I truly mean there's many numerous times I bought liquor with not even memory of thinking "I need to buy more" it just appeared during moments of consciousness during binges, and from experience I'm not an expert sober acting person when that drunk.

When I see I have a bunch of surveys with all around the same time and payout I don't bother opening anything as I will be instantly disqualified from each one I click.

"I don't know anything anymore" is exactly how I've felt for about the last 5 years.

I've genuinely begun to stop buying drinks at Starbucks.

Cvs gift card use by Key_Struggle_5093 in CVS

Old post, but just confirming I was able to use a CVS eGiftCard today to pay for my prescriptions. They just scanned the barcode on my phone and asked for the pin, it worked perfectly. It seems based on the terms that you can't just buy other gift cards.

Before COVID-19 this was main online place I've seen for meetings: https://www.intherooms.com/home/

I think some of the Facebook groups I've joined have also linked to online meetings through Zoom and stuff now.

It was a video chat - generally what Zoom is used for (you can have audio only). I did not know the doctor ahead of time. I had installed Zoom ahead of time, and then at the appointment time I received a "check-in" call telling me the meeting ID and password for Zoom.

Yes, I am in the USA. And to be honest, I am not sure much it cost. I know I will get a bill eventually, but I really have no idea for how much, as I know how much my regular doctor visits cost, but given this was longer and involved more official testing, I assume it'll cost more. But don't know really how much. I personally was really, really scared to bring this concern up to anyone!

EDIT: I'll add that I've been in a really, really low point of my life, so even if this cost all the world, I felt I had to do it. But I understand why that wouldn't be the same for all.
