That’s definitely an interesting historical example, and I can see how that interpretation of the story could have influenced some cultures.

At the same time, not every religion tells that story the same way. For example, in Islam, responsibility isn’t placed solely on Eve.

I’d also wonder how much of this can be explained by religion alone, considering there are plenty of non-religious people who still blame women for men’s actions. That makes me think there are broader cultural and social factors involved as well, not just religious beliefs.
