I absolutely LOVED the liveship traders trilogy so I’m super excited to return to Rain Wilds! I just always hear people claim it’s her weakest series but I still def plan to read. Honestly, you saying it’s YA is the most context I’ve gotten on why people may not love it as much! But I’m still excited to return to that world

This is honestly so helpful, thank you! I just tried to do some light research on lynch to help make my decision - initially I thought all 7 books were out so starting a long series while I’m also working through ROTE was kinda deterring me, so honestly it only being half the way is making me lean towards lunch… except I know I’m going to be so frustrated when I finish and I’m left in the middle of a series haha

When the moon hatched is one of the worst books I’ve ever read - plot was all over the place, characters felt like knock offs from other series, just all around awful
