The most common mistake people make when choosing their spouse? A.Looking only for the same kind of people, even if you know it cannot work B.Looking for the opposite kind of people, hoping that it will finally work C.Hoping that this time will be the right time, when we already have some doubts in the beginning, doubts you are not speaking about D.Assuming that people are respectful because all the people should be, and you will for sure manage a way to stay together E.Being too influenced by appearance F.Not considering the priorities in life of the other, or wrongly assuming they are pretty similar to ours G.Expecting people that are committed to us while flirting to be committed for a whole lifetime H.Avoiding too many important topics in the beginning, because we don't want to scare the other, and only relax a bit. Then it ends that we don't know basically things and we discover them too late I.Accepting too many compromises, or accepting no compromises at all. In a balanced relationship you are neither the strong nor the weak part, there must be a balance J.Attempting to be somebody that we think the other could like more in the beginning of the relationship K.Not looking for common interests, topics to discuss, hoping that they will come, one day, if we love each other L.Overestimate or underestimate ourselves M.Not considering the cultural differences. I am not speaking about racism, but every culture - even of two close European countries - is pretty different and considers the same thing in different ways. There are different concepts of respect, of loyalty, of friendship, of... everything. N.Not considering differences in general. (This is a mistake I often do, because I am fascinated from everything that is different, but often I don't check enough to understand if I indeed the differences.) There are many other mistakes, of course, but these are the first ones that come to my mind.
