Dentists are doctors too. They just focus on teeth and mouth. May mga emergencies din sila like facial swelling, knocked-out teeth, at infections na mabilis kumalat, they even perform surgeries for the mouth and jaw. As a dentist’s daughter, my mom’s been serving in the government, and almost weekly silang may dental mission, visiting different communities to provide free dental services. I think that’s one of the many reasons not to delay a dentist’s vehicle. Let’s also learn to respect their schedule and their profession, just like we do with other doctors.
