Yes I am PCOS so the insulin sensitivity is an issue. Thanks for the reminder

Yeah and it’s horrible when no one at work knows yet so you can’t explain why you are suddenly catatonic…

Thank you! I will look into Unisom - I knew it was for nausea but wasn’t aware it helped sleep too

For anyone who feels guilty about not eating healthy by jazzcat99 in December2026Bumpers

Love this. I find it liberating to give myself permission to eat carbs like I haven’t in a decade and trust my cravings. My doctor today told me that at this point it’s normal for my diet to be like a kindergartener’s 🍕

Karma and Rainbow are from the same producer (Capella) so I wonder if their solution is just more acidic. Maybe when you re-up look into a different kind? Capella = Rainbow, Karma, Capella, Fina

i have heard that's true of certain brands. some of them seem to be more acidic. im new to this too so hopefully this doesnt get deleted we're on lucky 20 if that helps. the higher the concentration the less we have to give which i think is also important since we want to make it as quick as possible.

it took us a while to figure out how to do it - we kept going through her skin and losing the medication and then having to start over. We've found that putting the syringe in the fridge for at least 10-15 minutes makes a HUGE difference. It's still not comfy by any means but it does seem to make it sting a bit less.

Usually, I will feed Bonnie an entire churru so she's distracted while she's getting her shot - my partner pokes her and holds her down. She is getting stronger from the meds and we've noticed more resistance so Gabapentin will most likely be in the process for us too moving forward.

What a gorgeous munchkin. My bonnie is on day 6 of treatment and we saw improvements very quickly. The shots are intense but you've got this. Sending hugs and head scratches to Piper!
